GBC Air Technical Services Ltd · UK Registered Company

Aviation operational technology.
Built from the inside out.

GBC Air Technical Services Ltd is an aviation operational technology and services company. We build the systems, design the procedures and deliver the consulting expertise that keep airline operations in control: from morning briefing through live operations to post-flight audit.

Our flagship software platform is VERUM, GBC Air Technical's integrated airline operations system for OCC, crew control, disruption management and dispatch readiness. The company is broader than any single product line.

Who We Are
Company profile

GBC Air Technical Services Ltd

  • Registered in England & Wales
  • Aviation operational technology & services
  • Flagship platform: VERUM
  • Cargo, charter, ACMI & regional focus
  • Evidence-based: no invented capabilities
  • Implemented multi-AOC and AOC / FTL regulatory logic
  • Human-supervised AI: every decision approved

GBC Air Technical Services Ltd was founded to solve a specific problem: aviation operations software is built by software engineers who understand software, but not by dispatchers, OCC controllers and flight operations managers who understand what actually happens on the line.

The result (across most of the available tools) is platforms that display data but do not control operations. Dashboards that report what happened, not systems that enforce what is allowed to happen. Scheduling tools that produce rosters, not operational control systems that enforce FTL limits and gate dispatch readiness.

VERUM is built differently. It was designed from the operational primitives outwards (FDP, W&B, MEL, AVSEC, MVT, OOOI, ICAO delay codes), rather than from a generic software architecture inwards. The result is a platform that speaks the operational language because it was authored by people who have worked the operational environment.

The management services arm of the company extends the same operational expertise into consulting, AOC acquisition support, airline setup, OCC design and compliance advisory, the same operational depth, delivered as a service rather than as software.

Company Structure

Five service lines. One operational doctrine.

The company is structured around five service lines, each grounded in evidence. All five connect to the same operational doctrine.

01

Aviation Operational Software

VERUM: the flagship airline operations system. Live OCC, crew control, dispatch, W&B, AI Decision Support and Predictive Risk Engine on one operational surface.

02

OCC, Crew Control & Disruption

OCC structure design, disruption management procedures and crew control framework. Delivered through VERUM and as standalone consulting engagements.

03

Compliance, Audit & Governance

Hash-chained audit chain, IOSA Readiness Layer, SMS framework and FDP / FTL legality enforcement. Compliance design and advisory as a standalone service.

04

Operational Doctrine & Workflow Design

130+ internal operational documents: operational procedures, workflow definitions, compliance frameworks and audit specifications, published and maintained.

05

Consulting & Operational Advisory

Aviation consulting, AOC acquisition support, airline setup, OCC design and airline expansion advisory. Tailored engagements scoped per operator.

FUTURE

Future Product Lines

GBC AIR FLEET · GBC AIR CARGO · GBC AIR CREW: reserved naming space for future product expansion. Not promoted today. Not a current capability.

Operational Principles

How we operate.
Four non-negotiables.

01 · EVIDENCE ONLY

Nothing is invented

Every claim on this website, every module description, every status label, every screenshot, is sourced from the real codebase, the real product and the real operational documents. We do not publish aspirational capabilities as current. Anything not yet built is labelled In Progress or Planned.

02 · OPERATIONAL PRIMACY

Safety first. Always.

The platform enforces Safety → Legality → Feasibility in that order, on every operational change. This is not a design principle. It is how the constraint engine runs. The company is built around the same priority stack, operational safety is not traded against commercial convenience.

03 · HUMAN AUTHORITY

AI assists. Humans decide.

The AI Decision Support module surfaces ranked, constraint-filtered options. A named human with a named authority approves every change. There is no automated execution of safety- or schedule-affecting changes. The system proposes. The controller decides. The audit log records both.

04 · HONEST POSTURE

Compliance posture stated plainly

The platform is not IOSA-certified. Multi-AOC architecture is implemented, supporting operators across multiple AOCs, regulatory frameworks and jurisdictions. The platform self-classifies as an advanced prototype. We say these things publicly because the aviation operations community recognises overstatement immediately, and because honesty is the only credible starting position for a company in this space.

"The UI is not a website. It is a control system."

Regulatory Context

Operational doctrine. Aviation-native.

Verum operational primitives and constraint enforcement are informed by ICAO Annex 6 (Operation of Aircraft), applicable FTL regulatory frameworks (including EU 965/2012 Subpart FTL), ICAO Annex 17 (Security), IATA DGR, and ISARP Edition 17 (IOSA Standards Manual). The platform is not certified against any of these frameworks, it is designed to the operational requirements they encode. Certification is a future roadmap item.

COMPLIANCE POSTURE: STATED PUBLICLY

Not an IOSA-certified product · IOSA Readiness Layer is a continuous readiness monitor against ISM Edition 17, not a certification service · SMS framework integrated: hazard register and full Annex 19 SMS on the roadmap · Implemented multi-AOC architecture supporting operators across multiple regulatory frameworks and jurisdictions · Production-scale deployment claims are not made until backed by live deployments.
